Yellowstone National Park
Woke the next morning after a great day in Grand Teton Ntnl Park and started driving straight away. It was only a 25 mile hop to Yellowstone, but we needed to arrive early to ensure a camp site. We succeeded of course.
We strolled the thermal hot springs, took a short bike ride to Duck Lake which is a very peaceful little lake a half mile off the road, and even rode on the shores of Yellowstone Lake itself. From there we kept it very easy with an early dinner, a small fire, then off to bed for an early rise for tomorrow’s long day of touring half the park.
