Van-Tramp Update

I have always tried to keep this blog about my adventures, not my bowel movements or personal-gossip, so I have had little to post about lately. It may end up being this way (quiet, not bowel movement talk) during my commitment to temp-work for these few months I will be stationary in Colorado.

Although it has only been a little over a week, the loss of my freedom to get-up-and-drive-off is eating me up. To actually be ‘scheduled’ to make an appearance at a predetermined physical location – each and every day – is not what I am used too and I do not like it. In the end it will be nice to fluff the bank account, but in the meantime I am partially regretting it. It may be more than 50/50 on the regret side.

I do have a van-interior rebuild project coming up, but I haven’t wanted to start it until I get more accustomed to my new work/sleep schedule. I will surely post some progress updates and photos as I tackle that job.

I’ve already begun searching out and planning my late-summer through autumn adventures. The uncertainty of clockwise or anti-clockwise is all consuming. Anyone who has followed me over the past few years knows I tend to leave Colorado, head North then West at this time of year before turning South before the real cold sets in. However, the option to reverse “the flow” is on the table, with a potential late July family camping trip in California. Time will tell.

    Sorry your off the road!

Whichever way you choose, clockwise our counter, I hope it includes a stop at our place (while we’re there).
