Union Reservoir
We left Peaceful Valley this morning to spend the weekend closer to town. We knew it was going to be hot (very hot in fact) at the lower altitudes, but Mom said she wanted a change of scenery anyway.
Once we arrived at Union Reservoir (only 40 minutes of driving) we quickly nabbed the shadiest camp spot that was open and circled the wagons for the weekend. Union Reservoir is a simple city run lake where you can camp, fish, swim, etc. The lake itself is only a few acres big, but comes with a small beach for swimming. They only allow camping on the two weekend nights (Fri & Sat) so we have to head out on Sunday afternoon no matter what.
Timmy and Imelda will come out on Saturday afternoon for some swimming and a BBQ
