The man is keeping me down
Since returning to Colorado, I’ve done little other than hang out with my son. There was still too much snow leftover to do many outdoor activities the first few days. Once it did begin to melt off I somehow injured my back at the gym. Heck, I thought I was taking it easy with a few light workouts to get back into the groove, but my back says differently. I’ve spent the last 4 days barely able to move -only just enough to keep complaining about how much it hurt.
It kept me from being able to play paintball on Saturday with Timmy and friends. They have been talking me into playing with them for years (I played a lot in my youth) but they had to go on without me again. Big Blue and I just hung out in the parking lot acting as home-base between matches.
At some point last night the back pain seems to have subsided… mostly. I’m hoping to make it back to the gym tomorrow. I’m also hoping to mount the new solar panels I ordered while in Utah. I didn’t want to risk it with the injury, but I desperately need the additional power as I have been leaning on the fridge again.
