Spring cleaning on the site

As you can tell, things have changed a little since your last visit. Normally I change the look every year, but I failed to do so in 2015 thanks to Kerri having me fall in love with her and all. So, while 2016’s change is still a bit late, here it is; cleaned up, less cluttered, and larger images for those of us (myself included) with older eyes.

And this brings me to a few additions I made a while back but never gave it any spotlight:

  1. On the top navigation bar you can not find a link to my Road Trips which go back in time and allow a full re-live of each adventure in chronological order. Relive the full Alaska trip, or Baja, or even my trip to Hawaii just weeks before meeting Kerri… they are all there and easy to find from here on. More will be added as they come.
  2. The ability to comment using your Facebook account has been added (at the bottom of each blog post). For some this is an easier way to leave a comment then the default way which required extra steps and checks to avoid the spam-comments that come with today’s Internet. It has been nice to see the comments get more use as of late, so feel free and don’t be shy.
  3. Lastly, I got around to updating the Boondocking Locations map with all the new entries from our time here in Colorado.

Was just looking at your route map. May I suggest that you take hwy 26 across Oregon VS hwy 20. It is more scenic albeit slower. Hwy 20 looks like Nevada and you’ve already seen Nevada. Just suggestion.

Thanks Howard, I will be sure to take your advice as John Day NM (right off HWY 26) is on the list to visit this year.
