McArthur family BBQ
Today was dedicated solely to getting all the California families together for a BBQ while I was in the state. My nephews and nieces came out for some swimming and food and I got to hang with my two brothers for the first time since Joel’s death. Mom and I ‘prepared’ a meal fit for royalty (by prepared, I mean bought… though I did BBQ up some mean chicken). It was just good family fun, and I was glad to see as much of the family as I could. Hopefully we can all get together at least once more before I start heading back to Colorado.
