Rock hard at the park

Hey, let’s keep the thoughts clean now… my Mom reads this blog… but yes, that is the title of the concert I have been waiting around to attend. Rock Hard at the Park was my second chance at seeing Halestorm in concert. I did see them in Denver earlier this year, but as luck would have it my brain has decided to purge those memories without notice. For this concert my main goal is to simply remember it a month down the road.

$55 for 8 hours of rock and roll under near perfect weather, $15 worth of beer (which is not very much beer) and a $7 pulled-beef sandwich which turned out to be very good considering where it was coming from. I had a great time, but I think that may be the last concert I go to for some time. As much as I wanted to just hang out in the rear of the crowd and soak it all in, I just couldn’t keep myself from working my way forward until I was separated from the stage by only the metal fence and a few security. It’s great for some photo’s, but not to great on the ears. I am hoping to get hearing back in my right ear soon.
