Rendezvous In Old Town

Monday, while exploring Cottonwood’s Old Town, Kerri and I stumbled onto R.I.O.T. (Rendezvous In Old Town) which converted an old service station into a pretty happening bar. After the downtown strolling and sight-seeing, RIOT became the late afternoon destination to relax and cool off with a Vanilla Porter that was neither too hot or too cold… instead it was just right, so we drank it all. A quick game of pool and then some cuddle time on the patio couch while finishing our drinks secured RIOT as a great place to hang out.

Friday evening we rolled into Sedona to for a final night on the town and to celebrate, but instead found crowds and 1-hour waits at every location. We opted to go back to RIOT where we were warmly welcomed by the bartender, ordered a few drinks and some food immediately, and were served said food just minutes later… even on a Friday night. Mid way through our meal we were visited by John and Laura of the Democratic Travelers who closed the bar with us over a few additional drinks.
