Poisoned

After spending Friday night with some work friends, I took off early to see if I can make the drive back to Colorado before the end of Sunday. I normally do not like to power-drive like that but the weather was so cold through NV, UT, and WY that I just had to keep the van’s heater on, which requires the engine to be on. By Sunday morning I got into Salt Lake City (after a nap) and made the remaining 500 miles in Sunday.

Since the trip was so short, I decided not to buy groceries and instead eat at restaurants along the way and the final one I went to, in WY, gave me food poisoning. By 2am Monday morning I was throwing up every 20-minutes and Monday was pretty much the same.

I haven’t been sick in years and I attribute that to not being around too many people. As luck would have it, just one was all it took.
