North Tucson

I arrived at a Walmart in North Tucson yesterday to meet up with a potential buyer for the trailer. While the sale did not go through, I had complied quite a list of items I needed from Walmart anyway. So, after a good night’s sleep I went in to use the bathroom and do my shopping. After an hour in the store, I got everything on my list (rare) but forgot to use the bathroom the entire time I was there! Still, mission accomplished with the supplies needed to go another week without coming back into a city.

As it turns out, there is a Planet Fitness gym only a few miles down the road, so I took advantage to get in a good workout and a hot shower (my first in 5 days). I thought I may just stay there and go in again tomorrow, but it was right in the center of a lot of businesses and I suspected the Police would be knocking on my door anyway, so I cam be back to Walmart for another good nights sleep.

I have been hopeful to hear back from the Forest Service by today to determine if I would be heading into Prescott Ntnl Forest to host at a Rec area. Still not word so I do not want to travel too far away until I hear the expected “yes”.

I’m not too sure where I will go next. I have a lot of work to do this weekend which may push me into a RV park for a night so I can get 120v power, but I’d rather find another spot in the desert where I can put out all my solar panels instead. Maybe I will go back to Buckeye Hills Park. At least I can stay there as long as necessary to hear back from the Forest Service and it is generally on the way
