I’m loving the Moose-Poker
I hadn’t played poker since 2005, but 4 weeks ago I finished fourth (1 place out of a money payout) in the bi-weekly poker tournament at the local Moose lodge. Two weeks ago I won the tournament taking home almost $270. This week, I won it again for another $180 prize which will pay for the mini-van rescue this weekend; I fly off to Phoenix to drive the mini-van back into Colorado. While it is not big money, the other Moose members are a hoot and we have just been having a great time. I think they may be working on voting me out though, so I may have to sit a tournament out to keep playing later down the road.
