Gone camping
Well, I finally got out of the city and up the Rocky Mountains. The plan was to do so on Wednesday… but it rained most of the day and I figured if I was going to pay for a camping spot, the weather be on my side… so I stayed in town one more night. This morning I made the 30 mile drive and claimed (paid for) my camping spot for the rest of the week and weekend. It is the wind is plotting against me today with huge gusts bringing flakes of snow down from higher up the mountain keeping me pinned down in the van until later in the afternoon. Timmy will be coming out tomorrow afternoon to spend the weekend with me.
