Curves in all the right places

Yesterday I left the comforts of my first RV park of the year, after staying for 5 nights. I am back on the road to continue my exploring of the New Mexico countryside at my horse’s pace. After a quick stop into Walmart to get some photos printed out for care-packages that I send family each month, I drove a whopping 30 miles on old Route 66 that runs parallel to I-40 here. This brought me to Sky City, an Indian casino where I stopped for the night with plans to run South to Acoma, the oldest town in America. As I was parked in the large truck parking lot, my view was of the mountains to the north, across the parking lot. Even when you least expect it, you can find beauty out here on the road.
